Roger Martin On Design

My first real exposure to the concept of design thinking in business was via my exploration of the MBA programs offered at the Rotman School Of Management at the University of Toronto.  Through a freebie Rotman magazine offered on their website began my fascination with design.  That fascination led me to Dan Pink’s “A Whole New Mind” and eventually to the development of this blog.  While design or design thinking is not really the core focus of this blog, it can probably be related to each posting in some way, however minimally.  Anyway, this morning I came across an interesting clip of Roger Martin, dean of the Rotman School on Youtube, in which he discusses the concept of design thinking in business, what he calls integrative thinking.  Here it is:
